This was a big papercraft. 40cm tall and requiring 26 pages of printing. It was one of the trickier ones I have built too as all of the mane spikes need to converge at the back of the head so I had to rely on the build video to guide me during that part of the build.

I began building Solgaleo last year during winter. After building the head during the school holidays, other responsibilities caught up with me and the build went on the backburner for several months. I did pick it up sporadically and did the torso and one leg before 2020 rolled around but decided that isolation was the perfect time to finish it. I spent several hours doing the last leg (attaching the leg while trying to seal the seams around the base of the tail was tricky) and I could have done better with the tail by using the neck of a wine bottle or something to help me round out the shape of the tail better but it is now complete!
It will now go in the window as our flat’s contribution to the nationwide Bear Hunt!
Credit needs to go to Sabi96 who produced this papercraft. Their site is http://sabi96papercraftbox.blogspot.com/2017/01/solgaleo.html
